A 20-year-old Wildwood woman was arrested early Monday morning after allegedly biting a male acquaintance and then throwing a piece of cement at him.
The man said he had recently returned from Puerto Rico and during a conversation with Elda Jannette Vega Cintron, an argument erupted, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. She bit him on the arm and threw a piece of cement at him. He told a deputy he was “afraid for his life,” the report indicated
She was taken into custody on charges of aggravated assault and battery. She was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on $25,000 bond.
She is already in a pre-trial diversion program in Lake County in connection with a domestic battery case involving the same victim.
