Frederick (Fred) R. Mrozek, 74, of Frankfort Ill., passed away Wednesday July 26, 2017. Fred was born Sept., 29 1942 in Chicago, Ill. to Rudy and Lottie Mrozek. He was raised in Oak Lawn, Ill. with his sister Joan (Walczak) and brother Tom Mrozek. He married Florence Chorley (deceased) in 1973 and together they welcomed a daughter Allison Marie. Fred married Denise Spurr in 1990 and opened his heart to three more daughters; Carrie Mackey (John Mackey), Patty Brown, and Susann Heise (Blaine Heise). He was the very proud Papa to Madison, Nolan, and Paige Mackey and Danny, Adam, and Matthew Heise.
Before retiring to The Villages, Fred made his home with his family in Frankfort, Ill. where he was the president and co-owner of Fra-Milco Cabinet Company.
He was very active socially and enjoyed 36 years as President of the Tuesday Night Early Mixed Bowling League in Orland Park, Ill. In addition he spent 99 years as a member of the Lawn Manor Rod and Gun Club. Fred never met a stranger, his booming voice and infectious laugh made him easily identifiable wherever he was.
Fred loved his family first and foremost, followed by The Chicago Cubs, good pizza, cold beer, and a fun time. He was a loyal friend, an adoring husband, a generous father and Best Papa Ever.
