A 47-year-old woman’s pipe for smoking cocaine was discovered in a bedroom during a burglary investigation at her home in Wildwood.
Sumter County sheriff’s deputies had gone Monday morning to the home on Eastwood Terrace to investigate a burglary.
Vickie L. Rhymer gave deputies permission to enter her bedroom as part of the burglary investigation. A glass pipe with burnt residue “was in plain sight,” according to an arrest report.
Rhymer admitted the pipe belonged to her.
She was arrested on a charge of possession of drug equipment and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center. She was released after posting $1,000 bond.
