A 39-year-old resident of The Villages was arrested after he was caught running from a Circle K service station with a cold Budweiser.
Lady Lake police went looking for Keith Barnum, who lives with his mother on the Historic Side of The Villages, at about 3:15 a.m. Sunday after he reportedly entered the La Plaza Grande service station from which he has been banned.
The attendant at the Shay Gate reported seeing Barnum run through the gate. A police officer spotted and then detained Barnum who had been running to his home on Roseapple Avenue. The officer noted that Barnum had a Budweiser in a bag that was “very cold and heavy with condensation,” according to an arrest report.
Barnum was arrested on a charge of trespassing.
He has been arrested several times at the Circle K.
He was arrested at the Circle K last month, claiming he had simply gone there to wash his hands.
Barnum was previously arrested at the Circle K when he allegedly groped an employee. He later showed up at the Circle K again on a beer run.
