Alan Dean Simmons Jr., whose address was listed as 1902 Antonia Place in an arrest report, is facing multiple felony drug charges following his arrest Wednesday afternoon by Sumter County sheriff’s deputies. Deputies raided the home at 1902 Antonia Place in June and arrested five people on drug charges. The home had become the scourge of the neighborhood and neighbors were up in arms.

A confidential informant working with the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Squad bought drugs from Simmons on June 5 at the home. An informant bought $100 of methamphetamine from Simmons on May 31 at Tierra Del Sol Bar & Grill.

He was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center on $17,000 bond.

Simmons was arrested earlier this year in connection with the theft of a golf cart in The Villages.
