Fanyong Du is an internationally acclaimed tenor who performs at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15 at La Hacienda Recreation Center. The performance is part of the “Catch A Rising Star” series for Maestro Bill Doherty and the Opera Club of The Villages. Tickets are $20.
Du, a graduate of the Mannes Conservatory of Music in New York City, has performed throughout the world.
After his concert in The Villages, he embarks on a two-month European tour. Binna Han, a pianist from South Korea, will accompany Hu on some selections.
