Cartons of cigarettes were reportedly stolen at Circle K in Ocala early Thursday.
Around 12:47 a.m., Marion County sheriff’s deputies responded to Circle K located at 6155 SW Hwy. 200 in reference to a robbery in progress, according to an incident report. Deputies made contact with an employee who advised the store was robbed by three suspects described as a black male, a black female and a white male. The employee advised she was outside the store, but saw the three suspects inside the store.
Deputies then made contact with another store employee who advised that he was standing behind the counter when the black male walked behind the counter and said give me those or “I will knock you out.” The employee advised the black male took cartons of cigarettes, and the two other suspects exited the store and entered into a black and silver Dodge. All three suspects then fled the location.
