An employee’s vehicle was reportedly burglarized at the O’Reilly Auto Parts in Ocala.
A Marion County sheriff’s deputy responded to O’Reilly Auto Parts located at 7335 N. U.S. Hwy. 441 in reference to a vehicle burglary, according to an incident report. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the victim who advised his silver Chevy, two-door vehicle had been broken into while the vehicle was in his employer’s parking lot, the incident report stated. The victim advised that the driver’s side window of his vehicle had been broken out and the glove box of his vehicle had been left open. He stated he last saw the vehicle secured Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. when he left the vehicle in his employer’s parking lot because his wife took him home. The victim advised an employee at O’Reilly Auto Parts found the vehicle with the window broken at 9:05 a.m. Wednesday. Nothing appeared to be missing from the vehicle, according to the victim.
