A 27-year-old woman was arrested by Wildwood police after showing up uninvited at a woman’s home during the state of emergency for Hurricane Irma.
Jessica Leigh Cantees of Wildwood was arrested when a woman woke up and saw Cantees on her porch on Warfield Avenue. Cantees allegedly ran away with a piece of the woman’s clothing.
A witness pointed police in the direction in which Cantees fled on foot.
Cantees had been arrested in July in a dispute with a neighbor who reportedly attempted to shoot her dog.
She was arrested on charges of burglary, petit theft and resisting arrest.
She was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center. Bond was set at $2,000.
