A fundraiser is set for Saturday, Sept. 30 to raise money to help the Big City Dancers get to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade.
All Villagers are invited to attend the event which will be held from 6:30 to 9:15 p.m. at Colony Cottage Recreation Center. The band Starburst will perform.
The Big City Dancers are Villages High School students who want to keep up the tradition of having local students participate in the parade in New York City.
Cocktail attire is encouraged for the ladies, dress shirt and slacks for the gentleman, no shorts, polo shirts or sneakers.
Admission is $10 per person and the dance is BYOB.
Dieter Dance will supply bottled water, coffee, iced tea and popcorn.
