A U-Haul truck reportedly went missing this week in Ocala.
A Marion County sheriff’s deputy responded to a residence on NE 25th Terrace in reference to a stolen vehicle, according to an incident report. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the victim, who advised he had a U-Haul truck taken from his driveway. The victim advised he was at his residence unloading the U-Haul truck and when he finished, the suspect told the victim she would take the U-Haul truck back to the store to drop it off. U-Haul called the victim and asked him where the truck was because it was not returned at 12 p.m., which was the agreed upon time.
