Upon arrival, the deputy observed a white 2015 Kia sedan with a broken driver’s side front window and a group of people standing off to the side of the vehicle, the report stated. The deputy made contact with a witness to the incident, who advised that around 9:30 p.m., he observed another white sedan pull up next to the vehicle. The witness stated that loud music started playing from the suspect vehicle and after a short time, the suspect vehicle traveled away from the area. It was at that moment, the witness noticed the damage to the victim’s vehicle. The witness went into the restaurant and notified the vehicle’s owner, whom he knows from church. The victim exited the restaurant with the witness and after looking into the vehicle, she advised two purses had been taken during the burglary. The restaurant’s manager then dialed 911.
The deputy interviewed the victim, who advised she had a gold Guess purse valued at $40, a black zebra print wallet containing her driver’s license, miscellaneous credit cards, cash and a large pink purse with miscellaneous toys for her daughter valued at $20, all missing from the vehicle.
