Villages Masonic Lodge #394 has “adopted” Villages Elementary School of Lady Lake as one of their principle charities for the last two years.

Masonic leaders recently presented cash and Christmas gifts to the school.

Tom Papin, left, and R.W. Mayfield, right, from the Villages Masonic Lodge #394 presented staff from the Villages Elementary School of Lady Lake with presents and cash to help assure that the students have Christmas gifts this year.

Approximately 82 percent of the students are from families meeting the Federal poverty guidelines and it is difficult to meet the needs of the children as well as the expenses of daily living this time of year. “The school staff do a wonderful job working with the Children and also appreciate the support of Community Organizations such as the Masons,” said Villager Tom Papin of the Masons.
