Quincy O. Stockdale, 91, Fruitland Park, Florida, went to be with the Lord on December 16, 2017 at his residence in Fruitland Park, Florida.
Mr. Stockdale was a former Millwright in the Steel Industry. He and his beloved wife moved to Fruitland Park 25 years ago from Hammond, Indiana. He was a devoted member of Eagles Nest Baptist Church of Fruitland Park, Florida where he had served as a Deacon. He had also been a faithful member of First Southern Baptist Church in Hammond, Indiana where he had also served as a Deacon. He was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran who served in World War II.
He is survived by his loving daughter: Deborah Ann Stockdale Pitts of Hammond, IN; a granddaughter: Shannon Belinda Stockdale Nascimento and one great-grandson: Nathan Nascimento.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at noon at Page-Theus Funeral Home, Leesburg, Florida with a visitation to be held prior to the service on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home. Following the funeral service, Quincy will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Leesburg, Florida with Military Honors.
