A suspected shoplifter was apprehended after fleeing on foot from Wal-Mart at Buffalo Ridge Plaza to the Murphy Express service station on County Road 466.
Alicia Tyndall Hight, 34, of Ocala, had been spotted by the store’s loss prevention officer concealing items in a black backpack, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
