
A Lady Lake woman was arrested on drug charges after she was spotted driving without headlights.
Briana Rachele Johnson, 22, had been driving at 1 a.m. Friday at Palm Street and Lemon Street when a Lake County sheriff’s deputies noticed she was driving without headlights.
Johnson attempted to give the deputy a false name and claimed her driver’s license had been stolen.
A search of her jacket turned up methamphetamine concealed in a pack of cigarettes. Pills and a syringe were found in the vehicle. It was also determined she was driving on a suspended license.
She was also wanted on Marion County warrant.
She was booked at the Lake County Jail. Bond was set at $7,000.
