A 17-year-old from Belleview was killed in a crash Friday in the Ocala National Forest.
Katherine Livengood was pronounced dead at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
She had been a passenger in a 2001 Chrysler 300 driven by William Wetherington of Silver Springs when the accident occurred at 5:51 a.m., according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol.
The vehicle left the roadway, struck a large tree and overturned. Livengood had been ejected from the vehicle.
Wetherington was pronounced dead at the scene by Marion County Fire Rescue.
