To the Editor:
Republicans control the House, Senate and White House, the government is closed and yet, they continue to blame Democrats and refuse to take any responsibility themselves. Trump’s the one who ended DACA, while the GOP-controlled Congress let CHIP expire. Now they want to force Democrats to approve billions of taxpayer dollars for a wall that Trump promised Mexico would pay for. Once again, Trumps skills as a negotiator are proven to be absolutely pathetic.
If Trump were truly this “master negotiator”, Obamacare would have been repealed, Mexico would be paying for the wall and the government would not be closed.
Trumps skills as a negotiator are using his power to bully and lash out at people. Remember this quote right out of Trumps mouth in 2013. “A shutdown falls on the president’s lack of leadership. A shutdown means the president is weak.” Imagine that.
