A 19-year-old was arrested after being found with marijuana and drug paraphernalia in his vehicle when deputies arrested his passenger on a warrant on Monday in Ocala.
Marion County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a warrant check at a residence located on SE 35th St. and made contact with Hayden Wyatt Moore inside of his red 2013 Cadillac, according to an arrest report. Wanted subject Tyler Weber was present inside the Cadillac and was placed under arrest for failure to appear in court.
During the encounter, deputies detected an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. When asked about the odor, Moore told deputies there was nothing in the vehicle. Deputies conducted a vehicle search that turned up a black bag containing several baggies and a bottle containing a green leafy substance that field tested positive for marijuana. A glass pipe was also found in the bag. Moore admitted that the marijuana and drug paraphernalia were his.
Both were placed under arrest and transported to Marion County Jail.
