A Wildwood woman attempted to blame her cousin for marijuana discovered in her vehicle.
Zahkia Shauta James, 38, was spotted at about 4 p.m. Saturday in a gold Honda sedan parked in the roadway at Pitt Street and Lawrence Street, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department.
She was alone in the vehicle when the officer approached it and detected the odor of marijuana.
A clear bag containing marijuana was found in the vehicle’s center console.
James told the officer her cousin drives her car and smokes marijuana.
When James was being processed at the Sumter County Detention Center, James admitted a marijuana “roach” was tucked in her bra, the arrest report indicated.
She was booked on a charge of possession of marijuana and issued a traffic warning for being stopped in the roadway.
Bond was set at $1,000.
