A woman was reportedly attacked over a yard sale sign at Shady Acres mobile home park on Sunday in Summerfield.
A Marion County Sheriff’s deputy responded to 16901 U.S. 301 in reference to the attack, according to an incident report. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the victim who advised she was battered by an unknown white female. The victim stated she was going to have a yard sale at her residence and set up a yard sale sign on the side of U.S. 301. The unknown suspect pulled up in a vehicle and took the sign down, stating it was her sign. The woman then drove up the driveway and confronted the vicim about the sign. She then started to grab the victim’s hair and punched her in the face. The woman dragged the victim to the ground and punched her in the face while also scratching her face.
