For February, there will be two Community Development District 4 Question & Answer meetings for residents to attend:
- Monday, Feb. 12 – Don Deakin, Supervisor and AAC Representative for District 4, will be the host for this meeting.
- Thursday, Feb. 15 – Jim Murphy, Supervisor and Past Chair for District 4, will be the host for this meeting.
Both Q&A meetings will be held from 7 to 9 p.m., in the Liberty Room at the Mulberry Grove Recreation Center.
This will give residents an opportunity to meet with their Supervisors on a more personal level and perhaps get a better perspective on District 4 operations.
The Q&A program was started nine months ago by Supervisor Deakin and has been a huge success with an average of over 45 residents attending monthly. Residents are invited to attend the entire meeting to listen to other residents’ questions, but each resident may arrive and depart on their own schedules.
“In order to improve communications, each month residents now have an opportunity to ‘chat’ with a District 4 Board Supervisor. Residents are able to sit down together to discuss any topics they would like,” said Deakin. “Because residents choose the topics, each meeting will be different.”
“The purpose of the meetings is to provide residents with the opportunity to ask questions, get answers, share their concerns, offer suggestions and address rumors,” Deakin added.
