The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a bullying incident said to have occurred on Valentine’s Day on a school bus.

A female student riding on the after-school bus told her mother about the incident prompting the mother to contact law enforcement.

The daughter reported that a male student who is frequently bullied threatened, “Don’t worry, tomorrow I’m going to have every single guy begging on their knees and crying.”

She said the student has been “aggressive” at school and “curses a lot,” according to an incident report from the sheriff’s office.

Deputies checked with school officials who said they were aware of the bullying and in the process of handling it. The bus driver was instructed to keep the students separated. The student does not have access to weapons at home, the report indicated.
