Tracey Lynn Kelmar

A 32-year-old Lady Lake woman was arrested last week with what she described as “fake drugs” after a trespassing complaint.

Leesburg police were called at about 8:30 a.m. Thursday to 27891 U.S. Hwy. 27 where they found a woman who refused to reveal her identity.

As officers prepared to determine her identity through the Rapid ID system, she willingly identified herself as Tracey Kelmar. Officers found that she was wanted on a Lake County warrant charging her with failure to appear on a charge of driving while license suspended.

During a search, officers found a plastic bag in Kelmar’s pocket.

“It’s just fake drugs,” she told them.

The substance inside the bag was determined to be methamphetamine.

She was booked at the Lake County Jail.
