Sara (Sally) Lockner, 71, of The Villages, FL, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018 after a short illness.
She graduated from UDHS and Temple University, Philadelphia. PA. After a 35+ years successful career in social work with the Pennsylvania Department of Social Services. She was a fierce advocate for the underdog and a strong believer in correcting injustice.
Sally retired to The Villages, FL in 2007.
Survived by 2 sisters, 1 brother, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Colony Cottage Recreation Center in The Villages.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to your favorite charity or Cornerstone Hospice.
