Robert (Bob) R. Northover, 87, of Water Oak in Lady Lake, FL, passed away, Wednesday, May 30, 2018 surrounded by his family.
Bob was born in Plainville, CT and attended local schools. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Bob retired as a Vice President from Mechanics Savings Bank in CT before moving to Florida 23 years ago. He was a member of the Water Oaks Veterans Club, the Lions Club International Lady Lake Orange Blossom Gardens Club and St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Leesburg, FL. In addition, Bob loved golf and basset hounds.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Dorothy and sons Paul of Sturbridge MA and Craig of Lady Lake.
Burial with full military honors will be held at Florida National Cemetery at a future date.
