
Iva May Kelly, 84, of Spruce Creek South, Summerfield, FL, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, June 1, 2018 after a long illness. She was born on June 19, 1933 in Jackson, Michigan and graduated from Jackson High School in 1952.
Iva was the second oldest of three brothers and one sister. Due to a broken home the siblings were split up and sent to different foster homes. She was a friend to many who knew her and often the life of the party. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lady Lake where she taught Sunday School for 4-5 year olds for many years. She loved children and they loved her.
Iva May is survived by her husband DeLoy Kelly whom she married in 1955 and their children Darlene Pattinson (Barrie) of Oak Park, Michigan; Lisa Whitted (Roderick) of Orlando, Florida and Thomas (Tom) of Summerfield, Florida; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Lady Lake.
Burial will be in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell at a future date.
