Paul P. Giantonio, Jr., 69 of Leesburg, FL, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018 after a long illness. Paul was born in Lawrence, MA and has lived in Leesburg for the past 3 years.
Paul retired from the Department of Veterans Affairs in 2010. He proudly served as a Marine in the Vietnam War from 1967 to 1969 and received the Purple Heart. Paul was a golfer and he loved to fly fish in the rivers of New Hampshire.
Survivors include his loving wife Gloria of 13 years; two stepsons, Steven (Diana) Johnson and Michael Johnson both of New Hampshire and four grandchildren, Raegan, Nathan, Jailyn and Alyssah. Also surviving is his mother Caroline and three brothers, Robert and his wife Gail from Woodinville, WA, Ronald and his wife Brenda of Methuen, MA and David from Lawrence, MA. He also has many nieces and nephews.
There will be a private service later with the family. Donations may be sent to the Cancer Society or Cornerstone Hospice, Tavares, FL.
