Rubye Shoaf, 81, of The Villages, FL, passed away on June 12, 2018. Rubye was born December 3, 1936 in Wilson, N.C. to Carl and Bertie (Thore) Simpson.
Rubye moved to The Villages, in 2001 from Richmond, Virginia.
She is survived by her loving, devoted husband, James V. (Jim) Shoaf, Jr. and her four sons, three grandchildren, and three stepsons.
Rubye was beautiful, loving, warm, caring, and always ready to help. Her infectious smile was characteristic of her charm and grace. She will be in our hearts and minds forever.
There will be a private graveside service at 11 a.m. Friday, June 29, 2018 at Kenly Cemetery, N. Englewood Dr., Kenly, N.C. 27524
