Elizabeth (“Betty”) Ann Noonan passed away on June 30, 2018, in Lady Lake, FL. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 11, 1937 to George and Grace (nee Long) Hinchman, as the middle child of three.
Betty Ann, as her family and friends knew her, celebrated 60 years of marriage to her loving husband Francis (“Frank”) earlier this year.
Betty loved genealogy, crossword puzzles, card games, and spending time with family and friends. She loved bowling and participated in weekly bowling leagues for many years. She also loved tennis and was a master of recording matches on DVR so she could fast-forward to all the best matches and highlights. She loved the Brooklyn Dodgers until they moved to Los Angeles. While raising their young family, she and Frank enjoyed vacations at Lake George, NY with their children, friends, and other members of their large, extended family. In recent years, she loved family getaways to the beach with her children and grandchildren and traveled to spend holidays and special occasions with them as often as possible.
Betty will be dearly missed by her loving husband, Frank, and their children: daughter Karen Schumacher and her children Kristi Celentano, Michael Celentano and Ryan Schumacher and Casey Schumacher; son Kevin, his wife Tammie, and their children Catherine, Joshua, and Ryan; daughter Maureen Truitt, her husband Donnie, and their children Morgan, Lindsay, and Madison; son Michael, his wife Ann, and their daughter Nicole; son Edward, his wife Norma, and their children Norma, Edward, and Candace; son Christopher, his wife Kristina, Chris’ son Anthony, Kristina’s children Khyrstyn, Colton, and Kylie; sister Eleanor; brother George (“Buddy”); and the many relatives and friends she loved who shared her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Dennis, and grandchildren Donnie Truitt and Amber Truitt.
Betty has joined our heavenly father and all the angels and saints. She is now able to complete all the missing lines in her genealogy charts and finally meet the ancestors she worked so hard to document.
