It is with great sadness we announce the death of our beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother, Jean S. Taylor, 87, who died in the evening hours on July 10, 2018, at the Cornerstone Hospice House in The Villages, Florida.
Also, with great joy we know she is now in the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born into this life on October 19, 1930, in Patton, Missouri, to the late Everett and Clara (Moyers) Clubb.
Jean moved to Fruitland Park, FL, in 2015, from Dunnellon, FL. Prior to that she lived in Canyon Lake, TX, and Covington, KY. She was a homemaker, beautician, and seamstress. She was a member of Tri County Baptist Church in Lady Lake, FL. Her greatest legacy was her faith in Jesus Christ whom she faithfully served and shared with her entire family resulting in them coming to faith in Christ as well. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, doing puzzles, and dining out with loved ones and friends. Jean will be forever missed, but never forgotten in our hearts until we meet again.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Brenda Gail Thompson (Randal) of Sharpsburg, GA; son, Philip Ray Taylor (MaryHelen) of Rocklin, CA; daughter Michelle Lynn Prinzing (George) of Fruitland Park, FL; son-in-law, Steve Stone; brother, Stan; sisters, Marie and Elva; her ten grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, William T. Taylor; her daughter, Patti Stone; brothers, Clem, Dale and Bill; sisters, Jere, Verna, and May.
On Friday, July 13, there will be visitation at 10 a.m. with a Memorial Service at 11 a.m. in the Beyers Chapel in Lady Lake, FL.
