
Marilyn Ann Jindra, 76, of The Villages, FL, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 9, 2018. Marilyn was born on January 16, 1942 in Johnson City, NY.
Marilyn graduated from Binghamton Central High School in 1959. On January 12, 1963, she married Frank J Jindra. They lived in Endicott, NY. Marilyn worked at Wilson Memorial Hospital. They moved to Penn Yan, NY, where Marilyn worked for Iron Age Shoe Company and the town of Jerusalem.
Marilyn and Frank retired to the Villages in 2003. Marilyn was an excellent cook. She enjoyed playing cards, Words with Friends, going to casinos and traveling with her grandchildren. Marilyn was a beautiful wife, sister, mother, grandmother and friend and was loved by many people. Our hearts are forever broken.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary Ann Grodecki of Conklin, NY and her brother Joseph Grodecki of Phoenix, AZ. Marilyn is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Frank, daughter Audrey, grandchildren Angelina and Emma, her sister Sandra Ingalls and brother-in-law Richard Jindra, along with her nieces and nephews and their children.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Timothy Catholic Church in Lady Lake on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 8:30 a.m.
