Randall Thomas Coppernoll

A Village of Palo Alto resident was arrested after he was found to be in possession of a set of metallic knuckles.

Randall Thomas Coppernoll, 40, of 2017 Palo Alto Ave., was driving a gray Nissan Maxima that was pulled over at about 3 a.m. Thursday at Thomas Avenue and West Main Street in Leesburg, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.

When the native New Yorker stepped out of the vehicle, the set of metallic knuckles was spotted on the seat of the vehicle.

In addition, a woman was discovered laying in the back seat with her “dress open and bra showing,” according to the arrest report.

Michael Wade Arnette

A K-9 alerted on the vehicle and heroin and marijuana were discovered under the passenger seat, resulting in the arrest of 34-year-old Michael Wade Arnette of Fruitland Park on charges of possession of heroin and possession of marijuana. He was booked at the Lake County Jail without bond as he was already on probation for possession of methamphetamine.

Coppernoll was arrested on a charge of possession of a concealed weapon. He was booked at the jail on $500 bond.

The Nissan Maxima in which they had been traveling was turned over to the woman who had been in the backseat.
