Stanley Alferowicz

Stan Alferowicz, 65, passed from this life on July 20, 2018 at Ocala Regional Medical Center. Born in England to his parents Michal and Helena Alferowicz on August 28, 1952.

He was primarily raised in New Jersey but after coming back from the service he spent most of his life in Ocala.

Stan served in the U.S. Army where he was stationed the majority of his time in the military overseas in Germany with Company B 2nd Battalion 6th Infantry. He also served as a 18f Special Forces Assistant with Intelligence. He was honorably discharged as an E-5 (Sergeant).

His most recent employment prior to retirement was Director of Plant Operations at The Club, which is a rehabilitation center located in The Villages. Prior to that, he also worked at MRMC and Forest Grocery where he was the General Manager many years ago, as well as owning his own painting business called A & H Painting.

Stan leaves behind his loving daughter, Jamie Arnold; his devoted sisters, Bobbi Kassick and Teresa Newsome, his son-in-law Vince Arnold; his brother-in-law Lee Newsome and his three granddaughters, Carissa, Madison, and Kelsey Arnold, as well as, Sherri Morris, which he spent many loving years together and especially enjoyed their travels to Georgia and Tennessee.

Stan was preceded in death by his parents Michal and Helena Alferowicz, his infant brother George Alferowicz and his brother-in-law Jack Kassick, Jr.

His final resting place will be at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, where he will be honored and remembered for his years of service.
