Frances Downing, of Del Webb Spruce Creek of Summerfield, Florida, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 28, 2018.
Frances was a salesperson at A & S and JC Penney for many years before she moved to Del Webb Spruce Creek to be with her daughters. She was an active member of the Bible Club, Arts & Craft Club, Monarch Neighborhood Gatherings, and the Quilters and Needlework Club. She was a little lady with a heart bigger than herself, always putting her family before herself. Frances was an unforgettable person and will be dearly missed by her family, friends and all the people’s hearts she touched in her 102 years of living.
She was widowed by her beloved husband William Downing in 1970. She is survived by Linda Deming (daughter), Bernie Deming (son in law), Joan Leuchten (daughter), Bob Leuchten (son in law), and her beloved grandchildren Eric Deming, Jen Deming, Dr. Alissa Deming, Lauren-Ashley Leuchten.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 2nd at Beyers Funeral Home, Lady Lake, from 2 – 4 p.m. After cremation, a Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, August 13, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church, Lady Lake, FL.
