
Henry Tyska, 70, of The Villages, Florida, formerly of Greenlawn, New York and Schroon Lake, New York, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 2, 2018. Henry was born August 4, 1947 in Huntington, Long Island, to the late Joseph and Mary Tyska.
Henry graduated from Harborfields High School in 1965. After High School, he joined the Air Force. He later went on to become a quality assurance supervisor until he moved from Long Island. He then held various technician jobs until he retired in 2010. During his retirement in The Villages, he enjoyed his job at Community Watch and was known by all for his friendly smile and his willingness to help at any time.
Henry is survived by his daughters, Stacey Tyska Johnson, Barbara Tyska Wersten and her husband, Paul; his grandchildren, Cameron, Madison and Alexander; brother, Joseph and sisters, Helen and Christina; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, the love of his life, Concetta Tyska and his grandson, Ryan Wersten.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 9, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Leesburg, Florida.
