
Dr. Hector Morales, of The Villages, FL, joined his forever family on August 3, 2018, as he is now healed in the arms of our Savior. Born December 31, 1927 in Guanajuato, Mexico to Mariano and Victoria Morales.
He was educated at University of Mexico and McGill University, Montreal, Canada. Upon completing Medical School and training, he later became the Chief of Oncological Surgery at The Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH, where he practiced for 30 years.
Upon his retirement, he became a member of the South Carolina Medical Association, where he had a small practice, as well as a medical volunteer.
Dr. Hector, as he was known by his many friends was passionate, not only about his family, but about his church, Kerala Christian Mission in India where he was privileged to have had the opportunity to visit, he had a heart for prison ministry, worked many years with The Villages Cancer Support Group, Habitat for Humanity in NC, enjoyed his Mondays working with Shoebox for the Troops, woodworking and golfing as long as he was able. Dr. Hector touched many lives over the years and will surely be missed by many.
Among those to meet him at Heaven’s gates will be his parents, wife, Aileen, three sisters, Rosario, Martha, TiTi and one brother, Sergio, as he leaves behind his loving wife, Rhetta, brother Edward, children Aileen Weirschke (Bob), Kathy Ferroni (John), Hector J. Morales (Michele) and Louis X. Morales (Sharon), six grandchildren, Ben, Anna, Sydney, Kyle, Bryson, Stephanie, one great-grandson, Davis and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at
11 a.m. at New Life Christian Church, 4701 E. County Road 462, Wildwood, FL 34785.
