Paula (Jean) Ebbert MacGregor, 79, of The Villages, FL, died suddenly on Monday, August 6. She was born in Charleston, WV to Paul Edward Ebbert, Sr. and Imogene Wolfe Ebbert.

She moved to The Villages from VA in April 2005.

After majoring in music (voice) at WVU, Mrs. MacGregor’s illustrious careers ranged from work with the FBI to the American Institute of Biological Sciences (now defunct), to her position with the National Academy of Sciences from where she resigned to raise her family. She enjoyed the lucrative hobbies of free-lance modeling, singing and owning her own craft business. Her singular, most important lifetime achievement was her family.

She is survived by her son Ryan Ebbert MacGregor (Sarah Margaret) and their twin sons Kellan and William of New York, daughter Morgan Leanne MacGregor Neufeld (Levi) of Texas, brother Greg Ebbert Sr. (Nancy) of Florida and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Paul Edward Ebbert, Jr. and sister Sarah Lynn Ebbert.

A visitation for relatives and friends will be held on Saturday, August 11 at 3:30 p.m. at the Beyers Funeral Home 134 North Highway 27/441, Lady Lake, FL. A celebration of her life will follow at 4 p.m.
