
Carol Leone, 85, passed away peacefully on August 9th in Lady Lake, FL after a long illness.
She was born and raised in Quincy, Ma, a graduate of North Quincy High School. Carol possessed an amiable and endearing charm, building many cherished and lasting friendships throughout her life. She had many avocations, having been a talented painter, and enjoyed ballroom dancing, tennis, reading, gardening, golf and mahjong.
Carol also relished travel, and was fortunate enough to visit much of the U.S., as well as Brazil, Venezuela, Jamaica, Portugal, Spain and Italy.
In the working world, Carol made her mark as an expert photo retoucher, perfecting the graduation photos of a generation’s worth of local youth. Later in life she became a public servant, working for the Hingham District Court.
Carol leaves behind her loving husband of 23 years, Richard Leone, sister Virginia Wood, daughters Janice Litton and her husband Donald and Lynda Brown and her husband Paul Klens, a son, Steven Brown and his wife Shana, and grandchildren Christopher Tusi, David Tusi, Jennifer Modeland, Justin Litton, Jared Litton, Sophia Brown and Damon Brown. She is predeceased by her first husband, Richard Brown.
