Benton “Norm” Dixon, age 82, of The Villages, FL, passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2018. He was born in Brunson, MI on September 8, 1935.
Norm served in the U.S. Air Force. During his life he worked as a Barber and then as an Employment Recruiter. He retired to Florida 20 years ago. Norm enjoyed golfing and was the Past President of Guys and Dolls Golf Club. His real passion was traveling.
He is survived by his wife Bonnie Dixon; daughter Dianne; sons Mark and Eric; 6 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son Dan and his first wife Marilyn Dixon.
A celebration of life will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 1511 Buenos Aires Blvd, The Villages, FL on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow.
