Two fast-food restaurants and a second grocery store are coming to Trailwinds Village, located on County Road 466A in Wildwood.
Wendy’s and Taco Bell will be coming to the developing commercial hub located across from Pinellas Plaza in The Villages.
Trailwinds Village already has Lowe’s home improvement, ABC Fine Wine & Spirits and an ALDI grocery store. A Circle K is soon to open, also.
A yet-to-be-named grocery store will be located near Lowe’s, on the opposite side of Trailwinds Boulevard.
In 2015, The Villages badly wanted to build 800 homes at the location, but that plan was ultimately rebuffed by Wildwood commissioners.
