Democrat Andrew Gillum will speak Saturday to the The Villages Democratic Club at 1 p.m. at Savannah Center.
Republican Ron DeSantis will be at an event that begins at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Lincoln Room at Laurel Manor Recreation Center.

A new poll shows the Tallahassee mayor has a three-point lead over the former congressman who rode to victory in the GOP primary, thanks to a hearty endorsement from President Trump. The poll was conducted by Florida Southern College’s Center for Polling and Policy Research. It also shows that Gov. Rick Scott is leading Bill Nelson in the U.S. Senate Race.
