A convicted felon was arrested after he was found to be in possession of heroin after a traffic stop at Murphy Express on County Road 466 in Oxford.

A green Pontiac at about 7 p.m. Oct. 9  was traveling in the vicinity of the gas station when a Sumter County sheriff’s deputy discovered the license plate on the vehicle actually belonged on a gray Lexus.
