A sexual predator from Oxford landed behind bars after failing to register his email/instant messaging name with authorities.
Michael Allen Reams, 37, was arrested Monday night on three third-degree felony charges. He was booked without bond at the Sumter County Detention Center.
Reams was convicted in 2001 of lewd and lascivious assault on a victim under the age of 16 in Orange County.
Reams had recently appeared on the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office Most Wanted list.
