
Edward David Gervinski, 79, of The Villages, FL, passed away on October 27, 2018. He was born in Portage, PA on February 11, 1939.
Edward graduated in 1961 from Case Institute of Technology in Cleveland, Ohio with a BS in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering. He retired from Westinghouse/Northrop Grumman in 1997 after 36 years of service. He enjoyed golfing, bowling and gardening. He also enjoyed carving walking sticks and was an avid numismatic/coin collector. Ed was a Boy Scout leader for 25 years and a member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Mark Church.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Peggy, two daughters, Anne Charles (Jeff) and Susan Wenzlick (Dan) and four grandsons, Scott and Bob Wenzlick and Nathan and Darren Charles. He is also survived by his sister Judy Hanzel and brothers Tim & Leonard Gervinski.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mark The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 7081 SE Hwy. 42, Summerfield, FL at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 12, 2018. A service will be held at St. Philip Neri Church in Linthicum, MD on November 30, 2018.
