Snowbird reports car’s back windshield shattered while parked at Winn-Dixie

A snowbird from New York reported the back windshield of her car was shattered while it was parked at a Winn-Dixie grocery store in The Villages.

The 65-year-old woman, who winters in the Water Oak community, parked her gold 2006 Honda Accord with New York license plates at 7 p.m. Nov. 10 at the Winn-Dixie at La Plaza Grande in Spanish Springs, according to an incident report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

She returned to the parking lot about 20 minutes later and found the whole rear window was shattered.
