A speeding driver found to be behind the wheel with a suspended license was apprehended by Lady Lake police.
Mia Kizer, 21, of Ocala, had been driving a 2007 Nissan Altima at 10:10 p.m. Dec. 7 when she was caught on radar traveling 50 miles per hour in a 35 mph zone on County Road 25, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. A check revealed her driver’s license had been suspended for failure to pay a traffic fine.
Kizer was cited for driving while license suspended and ordered to answer to the charge Jan. 2 in Lake County Court. She was given a verbal warning for speeding.
Kizer was arrested this past June after an unrestrained toddler was spotted in her vehicle when she was driving in Wildwood.
