Raymond Charles Marlotte, 87, of Leesburg, FL, passed away on December 16, 2018. He was born October 11, 1931 in St. Louis, MO to Theodore Angelo and Mary Helen McCarthy Marlotte.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and proudly served on the destroyer USS Zellars.
He worked in the insurance industry and retired as a Claims Manager in 1995 and shortly after moved to Leesburg from O’Fallon, MO. He and his wife were active members of The Plantation where he enjoyed many activities especially golf and playing cards.
Survivors include: the love of his life, wife Carol of Leesburg; daughter Krista (Jeff) Hansen of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren Katie, Josh and Luke; sisters Shirlene Grigaitis and Duane Coleman; and was preceded in death by his two brothers Ted and Edward.
A gathering of family and friends as well as interment will be scheduled at a later date.
