A couple with drugs was arrested in the parking lot of a supermarket in Wildwood.
Michael Andrew Collado, 27, of Summerfield, had been driving a black Dodge Ram pickup shortly after 8 p.m. Thursday when a police officer noticed he was not wearing a seatbelt. During a traffic stop in the parking lot of Save-A-Lot at 360 Shopping Center Drive, methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine and drug paraphernalia were discovered in the vehicle.
A passenger, 36-year-old Cara Marie Wylie of Summerfield, was found to have methamphetamine in her pocket and her sunglasses case contained a pipe with the residue of methamphetamine.
Both were taken into custody on drug charges and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center. Wylie was released after posting $3,000 bond. Collado was released after posting $8,000 bond.
