A 46-year Summerfield man called a Marion County sheriff’s deputy for help on Wednesday after discovering that his wallet and car keys were missing from his motorhome.
The man, who lives at the Southern Oaks RV Resort, located at 14140 S. U.S. Hwy. 27/441, said he believes someone entered his motorhome between the hours of 8:30 on New Year’s night and 8:30 a.m. the following day. He said he also was missing his driver’s license, debit card, insurance cards and key fob, a sheriff’s office report states.
The deputy also spoke with the man’s 71-year-old mother, who lives in Summerfield and owns the motorhome. She said she helped her son look through the coach in case he had misplaced the wallet and keys. But she confirmed that they couldn’t find either of the items.
